Clare:

La chatelaine, the owner, the boss! Divides her time between France and London – and possibly anywhere from Mexico to Manchester, delivering her consultancy work. Co-writes the blog with Sue.

Sue:

Lynch-pin and point of contact for bookings and local info. Also divides her time between France and England. It’s her fault Clare ended up in the Drome so she’s got roped in! Takes her job of sourcing local wine and trying out new restaurants very seriously. Co-writes the blog with Clare.

Kim:

Our ‘virtual’ administrator, gite expert in the Lot. In charge of listings and availability.

Laurent:

Pool man par excellence. You’ll see him usually on a Friday keeping the pool pristine for your pleasure. First point of contact if Sue’s not around. If he can’t sort the problem, he’ll know a man who can!

Sandra:

Our wonderful lady who ‘does’ (sounds nicer than femme de menage don’t you think?) – in command of housekeeping, preparing the house for your arrival and then putting it all back in order once you’ve gone.

Gael:

Our gardener whose green fingers keep Le Colombier’s flowers blooming and vegetables growing in even the most challenging weather.

Jean:

Visiting garden expert and supplier of interior decoration advice (and implementation). Frequent visitor and guinea pig for Clare’s table d’hote menus!
